About HYPERDOCKET™

HYPERDOCKET™ is an intellectual property information service offered exclusively to clients of Waddey & Patterson, P.C. The HYPERDOCKET service allows clients to quickly connect to and view information about their patent and trademark portfolios. Each client choosing to use the service receives a secure page or set of pages on the HYPERDOCKET web site.

Information about issued and/or pending patents and trademarks owned by that client is stored on the client's secure pages. For patents and trademarks for which Waddey & Patterson, P.C. is responsible, the information is updated by the Firm as needed in response to proceedings and events occurring in the U.S. or foreign patent and trademark offices. In addition, hyperlinks can be provided from the HYPERDOCKET pages to information available online from official sources, such as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The categories and scope of the information provided through the HYPERDOCKET service are customized to accommodate the needs and desires of each client. A HYPERDOCKET page can be a simple list of issued patent numbers and titles with links to PTO information. The client may also request detailed status reports reflecting current and scheduled actions needed to maintain such intellectual properties in force. The HYPERDOCKET report pages can be downloaded by the client as needed for printing and distribution within the client's organization.

The information provided by the HYPERDOCKET service is accessible from any computer with an Internet connection and an up-to-date browser. Security is provided at two levels. User names and passwords are assigned by the Firm to access the HYPERDOCKET secure client area. A second user name and password are needed to open the client information pages. Each client is assigned its own unique user name and password. Use of the service is anonymous - the identities of the clients using the service are not displayed anywhere on the site.

The use of the HYPERDOCKET service can save the client time and money. No longer will the client have to call or email an attorney or paralegal for a current status report on segments of the client's IP portfolio. A few mouse clicks will quickly provide much of the basic information needed. No more will a client have to search for information about the client's patents and registered trademarks. The HYPERDOCKET service pulls it all together in one convenient location.
